SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA — May 29, 2017 — Mariner xVuTM is pleased to announce Craig Storey, P. Eng., has recently assumed leadership of the xVuTM sales team as Executive Vice  President, Global Sales. With client growth in the Tier-1 market – and significant increase in current client opportunities with global leaders in advanced mobile services, next-generation TV, high-speed internet and smart solutions – the xVu organization is currently focused on expanding growth in international markets such as LATAM and Asia-Pacific.

Craig has over two decades of experience in leading successful sales teams in technology, energy and communications. With expertise and background working in telecom with customers like Bell Canada, Craig has most recently worked within East Valley Ventures and previously lead Mariner Innovations and SHIFT Energy to become successful ventures within the Mariner group of companies, realizing revenues in each of the past two years of more than $25 million.

“Mariner xVu continues to experience rapid growth and we are seeing our Tier-1 opportunities in over the top, multi-service and streaming expand across the board,” said Marc Savoie, president at Mariner xVu. “Craig is the right person to lead our sales team through an aggressive growth trajectory as our xVu software platform now successfully monitors over three billion events per week, with over 40 million devices under management, and our recent investment in advanced solutions that leverage the xVu platform.”

In 2016, Mariner xVu revenues grew above a four year compound growth rate of 30%. Craig’s mandate as executive vice president will be to continue to solidify xVu as the go-to problem-solver for the organization’s established customer base. He will also continue to expand xVu’s market positioning as the most dependable value-added software for operators seeking solutions that can manage both current and new offers simultaneously, with more agility and service visibility for the teams that build
and operate video services.

“xVu is growing within a changing technology landscape,” said Storey. “Operators are investing in customer satisfaction initiatives while looking to capture economies for serving entertainment, Internet, Wi-Fi and mobile offers. I’m excited to work with our best-in-class sales team and our exceptional customers as they work with a consumer base that increasingly looks for more mobile, premium entertainment on new devices, anytime, anywhere.”

Currently processing over three billion events per week – 13 billion per month and over 150 billion in 2016 alone – xVu analyses and prioritizes QoE service impacting events. By providing operators with a proactive service monitoring approach, the xVu platform allows them to take smarter action against issues such as network degradations, where the root cause may be hard to spot, as it can be at the head end, in the content delivery network, in the content itself, in the neighborhood network, or be caused by wireless equipment in the home. Consumers see their entertainment impacted by buffering, clipping or a complete suspension of service, which can be a blind spot for many operators today.
